People tell me all the time that my brain is great. I'm insightful, a genius, talented. If I am, then standards have fallen. Even so, I will admit to being good as many things, though not especially talented at only one thing. I pick up skills like children pick up habits, and as soon as I've learned as much as I am content knowing, I move on to something else.
I have no ambition, no drive. I do what others expect of me because it is a direction - more than I have on my own. The only thing I learned is how to be stubborn, now to bull my way through the tough decisions and deal wit what comes my way. And even lately my patience has been wearin

Some Free Thoughts

So much time has passed, and a few things have changed. And yet, I continue to watch things change around me and wonder if I am even trying to keep up. I have found yet another teacher, a soul to learn from for the time being. Whether or not this soul lingers depends entirely on it. The Totems act of their own accord. I still make wishes and cast my words out into the Great Void in hopes of some answer being returned, but my hope continues to dim like a candle running out of oxygen. And I find myself clinging to wishes I made as a small child. Nothing has changed, and yet so very much has.
